On July 4th, 2009 12-4 in Davidge park Middletown, NY at the end of Lake St.  The United Youth Fest asked us to donate 2 bikes we will give them 4 reconditioned bikes for a Raffle. 4  Helmets  We will be showed 20 kids how to lock there bikes and they received a free bike lock for learning. Event:   Rating: Community Safety Day Community Safety Day is a free community event that is meant to teach children of all ages how to be safe. The LaGrange firefighters are doing a presentation on fire safety and are bringing their firetruck. The Dutchess County Sheriff's Department is doing child fingerprinting and abduction prevention. Also, the Child Abuse Center is doing a presentation on Internet Safety. There will also be a helmet safety demonstration and bicycle obstacle course. Food, games, & prizes. We will be giving away kids reconditioned bikes, teaching people how to lock their bikes. Handing out our information.  Trying to get people to register their bikes, or even wright down the serial numbers, and put in a safe place. Like a fire proof safe.  We gave away 23 bicycles, and 24 brand new locks and showed 24 people how to lock there bikes correctly.
