Child # 272 This teen worked hard to get his bike.

 Most the time you give someone something for free it means nothing,

 but let him work a little for it and it has a value hopefully they will take care of the bike.

 Lock them up.

#273 This teen traded in his bike. For this recently traded Brand New Huffy.

He helped sweep a little with some other boys for a couple sodas.

I showed them a little about fixing there bikes. Seats, pegs, tires.

He took the tools and fixed another kids pegs. That's what I like to see.

 He ended up taking his bike back but not before I tweaked it out for him with

another seat and spray painted his bars for him cause they were scratched.

October 4, 2008 This kid came over with a couple other kids I had gotten bikes for.

 I asked him You got a bike cause we were going for a ride, he said no.

 I told him if he gets his parents on the phone and ask if I can take a pic or not.

 He gets his dad on the phone and I guess his dad was like free bike what's going on.

 Which is great. Who gives out free bikes. So he said no at first, then with some coaxing from his son

and me explaining the program more in detail he said sure.

 I had just finished this bike the night before putting coaster brakes on the back because I could not fix the other brakes.

This bike I gave out to a guy who bought another bike for his other son.

I thought I got a pic of his son but it turns out I did not save the picture.

 Which really stinks cause I wanted to thank the New Windsor Police

 and I had parted out most of the bikes they supplied for us.

 October 6th

 #276 & 277 Borrowed a bike last night not sure they will return it.

 We accept any donated bikes.
