Grafe's Free Bike Drive Kids Who Have Received Bikes I started to give out some free bikes to make room for new donations. This was May 6th 2006 A father and his son and 2 neighborhood kids were walking down the road going to the park.
I asked them if they would like a free bike. After talking with him, I found out he was new to the area, so I welcomed him to the neighborhood. All the kids were so excited and happy. The father couldn't belive we were giving them free.
On May 8th the 4th free bike was given out to another kid, then he brought his buddy over so he could get a free bike. The first kid asked me if I had any foot pegs. I did have some old rusty ones, but he didn't seem to mind. He put them right on his new bike. They rode off with a big smiles on there faces.
Number 4, & 5 have been helping me alot find other children who need bikes. They have been donating there time helping me with the raffle. What a wonderful bunch of children.
Thank you for the Mongoose donation Child 4. I 'm glad we were able to give you another bike after somone stole the first one we gave you. The state law states 14 and younger need a helmet. Bike helmets for your children might help save there life.
